During a special evening viewing of the exhibition Rebecca Warren, staff from the Serpentine Gallery will be on hand to discuss opportunities for involvement in the Education Programme. This will be accompanied by the launch of a new title by the Serpentine Gallery and Koenig Books: Experiment Marathon. The books documents a recent highlight of the Gallery’s programme in the ongoing series of Marathon events in the annual Serpentine Gallery Pavilion.
Experiment Marathon took place at the Serpentine Gallery in October 2007 and in a revised form at Reykjavik Art Museum the following year. Over 100 leading figures in art, science and academia participated. This book documents these projects, featuring extensive illustrations, essays and archive material – an essential read for anyone interested in cutting-edge ideas and culture
