Sarah Sze (born Boston, Massachusetts, 1969) creates elaborate systems and arrangements that reflect on complex relationships and networks within contemporary life.
This limited-edition lithograph relates to her labyrinthine installation, Second Means of Egress (Orange), 2004, which was created for the Serpentine’s exhibition, State of Play.
Her work can be found in both public and private collections worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the Fondation Cartier Collection, Paris. Sze was the recipient of the prestigious MacArthur Fellowship in 2003. She lives and works in New York.
