Anri Sala

Published for the Serpentine’s Anri Sala exhibition, this catalogue focuses on developments in Sala’s work, particularly the importance of music and sound. The publication features texts by Michael Fried and Joshua Simon, transcripts and scores from Sala’s films and an interview with the artist by Julia Peyton-Jones and Hans Ulrich Obrist.

Serpentine Gallery Pavilions 2000–2011

Since 2000, the Serpentine has invited top international architects, including Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid, to construct their first built structures in England. This book, by Philip Jodidio, is the first to bring together all of the Serpentine Pavilions, with original drawings by each architect and photographs of the completed works.

Featuring texts by Paulo Herkenhoff, Guy Brett, Lauro Cavalcanti and Ivana Bentes, this in-depth publication also includes many texts written by Lygia Pape and fellow artist Hélio Oiticica.
